Plumbing with a Heart for the Roxboro Community
At Autism Plumber, we believe that “different” is brilliant. Our company is a tribute to our daughter, Felicity, whose unique light inspires us every single day.
Professional Excellence You Can Trust
While our values are rooted in family, our work is backed by elite technical standards. As a second-generation plumber holding a P2 license along with OSHA and TracPipe certifications, we bring unparalleled experience and competence to every job. Whether it’s a complex sewer line repair or a simple faucet install, we provide professional plumbing solutions that are safe and built to last.

Our Core Principles:
Family, Clarity, and Integrity
Felicity’s journey with Autism has taught us to approach every home with extra respect, empathy, and dedication. These aren’t just words to us—they are the three pillars that guide every single service call we run:
Our Story, Our Family, Our Name
Built on Expert Craftsmanship, Guided by Genuine Kindness, and Inspired by Our Daughter.
David McCotter
Lead Technician & Co-Owner
Licensed P2 Plumber, Fully Insured, OSHA & TracPipe Certified
Plumbing is a true family legacy for David. As a second-generation plumber, he started learning the trade from his father at just five years old. While David has extensive professional experience navigating large, complex commercial systems, his true passion is bringing that advanced technical mastery directly to his neighbors’ homes. He focuses his skills exclusively on residential properties and farmhouses within a local 30-minute radius of Roxboro.
When David steps into your home, he looks at the entire picture. His diagnostic skills go beyond quick fixes to understand how your structural, electrical, and mechanical systems integrate, allowing him to find the root cause of an issue with complete honesty and precision. Fully insured and strictly committed to OSHA safety codes, David treats every home with the utmost respect, ensuring your space is left tidy and safe.
When the toolbelt comes off, David is a devoted husband and a hands-on dad. He proudly chose the name Autism Plumber to advocate for his daughter and support his family. Locally, you can find him volunteering in church ministries or helping out people in need across the community he has called home since 2017.

Rebekah McCotter
Administrative Operator & Co-Owner
Customer Relations, Strategic Operations, & Systems Management
Rebekah keeps the engine of Autism Plumber running smoothly. She learned from her mother, who owned and operated a specialized service business, firsthand how to care for clients and run an honest company. With administrative professional training, Rebekah loves bringing meticulous order to everything she touches—she even once worked in the state capital to organize massive filing systems!
Rebekah is also a proven entrepreneur who founded Crafts & Cards from Home, a handcrafted small-batch botanical goods business that sharpened her eye for quality and customer care. Today, she channels that experience into managing our scheduling and streamlining communications.
Co-owning this business alongside her husband, David, allows Rebekah to combine her professional skills with her deepest passion: her family. Deeply rooted in Roxboro, she serves as the PTSO President at their daughter’s school and volunteers at their local church. Rebekah’s ultimate goal is to take the stress out of home repairs, ensuring you experience warmth, clarity, and absolute integrity from your very first phone call.

Felicity McCotter
The Heartbeat & Chief Inspiration Officer
If you’ve ever wondered about the story behind our name, look no further than David and Rebekah’s beloved daughter, Felicity. Felicity is autistic, and watching her navigate the world with her own unique, brilliant perspective is what drives our family and business every single day. She has taught us firsthand the true power of patience, the beauty of seeing things differently, and the vital importance of clear, predictable communication.
This company was built to honor her journey by specializing strictly in dedicated care for family homes and farmhouses. The lessons Felicity teaches us at home are the exact values we bring to your doorstep.
Felicity is incredibly friendly and loves talking to people about Autism Plumber! When she isn’t busy learning, you can find her sitting with her family on Sundays at church, playing at the local park with her best friend, or enjoying a cozy family movie night.
Thank you for supporting our local business built on her bright, wonderful spirit!
